What is an EFT Circle like?
An EFT Circle is not "touchy-feely." Verbal sharing is minimal, and if a source of stress feels too personal, verbal sharing about it is not needed at all.
At the start of the session a short history and description of EFT is covered for those to whom it is new. First time attendees are asked to come a half hour early for this reason. No prior knowledge of EFT is needed.
Participants choose a source of stress they would like to focus on for the session. This can be anything at all that is currently bothersome. If desired, a brief description of what has been chosen is shared with the group.
All
the various stresses are gathered and held, so to speak, in the energy of the group. Gently facilitated EFT then respectfully acknowledges the presence of these challenges and supports the choice to allow greater freedom from the constricting thoughts, emotions or physical sensations that accompany them.
The EFT phenomenon known as "borrowing benefits" comes into play in an EFT circle. When doing EFT in a group setting participants find that their own stress levels diminish as they tap along with general phrasing about the issues of others, as well as their own. It is a very gentle way to experience the release of stress and tension.
Cost
The cost of an EFT Circle is on a sliding scale of $0 to $20, pay as you are able.
This is to make circle attendance available to those who would like to come but may be experiencing financial difficulty.
